„Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes.“
Walt Whitman, Song to Myself

Throughout the history of mankind notions of multitude and unity were observed through different prisms. Today the world operates mostly as a pre-agreed construction of reality. The conscious I is contaminated by a multitude of information and existing images, while the unconscious appears to serve for self-repression; its function as the coordinator is neither being utilized, nor is it perceived.

This work attempts to abolish the illusion of what we perceive as separate or individual. Abstract images and sounds are interwoven into real images of the present in a dreamlike, mystical and even hectic three-dimensional composition. Installation Multitudes (2017) reflects on our aspiration to unify fragments, events and things around us into an indivisible whole.
